Organized Closet Challenge

October Closet Challenge 101 Post.png

Are you joining in?

It’s Fall Y’all!

Every Fall one of my favorite things to do is swap out my Summer wardrobe for my Fall wardrobe. I know it’s not a favorite for everyone so that’s why I wanted to do an “October Closet Challenge” and share my steps with you all.

Have you started on your closet yet? I've started mine and these are the steps that I follow:

First grab these items:

  • trash bags

  • a piece of paper

  • a pen

Now, it's time to PURGE!

Go through ALL things in your closet (clothes, shoes, purses, paperwork...whatever is in there ) and make piles.

Piles to make:

Keep Pile (what you want to stay in your closet)

Keep Pile (what will go live in a new location of your home - think about a place that makes more sense than your closet)

Donate Pile

Trash Pile

Are you wondering why you should make piles?

ONE WORD: Overwhelmed

If you don’t make piles while taking going through this process you will get overwhelmed. When we get overwhelmed we tend to shut down and walk away leaving a huge mess. We don’t want that.

Start your process following the steps above.

YOU GOT THIS! Or, you can call Hope for Help!

Stay tuned for more steps in the blog and in my Facebook Group.
